I am a high school student conducting a 360 research project in the Campbell Muscle Lab as part of a program I am in at Paul Laurence Dunbar High School. I am currently a Senior, and when I am not researching I spent my time after school as an officer in Fayette County FIRST Robotics and PLD Science National Honor Society.
I am currently performing computer simulations of muscle cells using the Myosim program developed by Kenneth Campbell in order to better understand how rate constants of the molecular properties of half sarcomeres affect the relaxation of cardiomyocytes.
Molecular dynamics are awesome. In fact, in college I plan on studying biomolecular physics.
